Mary E. (Richards) Gauger, 73, wife of the late William L. Gauger, of Royersford, passed away on Monday, March 01, 2010, at the home of her daughter-in-law. Born in Williamstown, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Elsie J. (Barry) Richards.

Mrs. Gauger was a 1954 graduate of Royersford High School and a member of the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church, Royersford. She was a homemaker most of her life and cared for her grandchildren when they were young. Later, Mrs. Gauger worked in admittance at the Eagleville Hospital. Her passion was spending time with her grandchildren and she was an avid reader.

Mrs. Gauger is survived by one daughter, three sons, one daughter-in-law, one sister, twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one nephew. She was preceded in death by one daughter Jacklyn Edwards and one great-granddaughter Payton.

Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, on Friday, March 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul H. Neff. Interment will be held privately. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Gauger wished that no flowers be sent; instead please send a donation in her memory to a charity of choice.
