Mary C. (Scortico) Hozyash, age 89, wife of the late Walter Hozyash, of Royersford, PA died early Wednesday morning in the Manor Care of Pottstown. Born in Royersford, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Michelina (Perna) Scortico. She attended school in Royersford. Mrs. Hozyash was a machine operator at the Spring City Knitting Mill. She enjoyed taking road trips, shopping and checking in on her neighbors, friends and family.

Mrs. Hozyash is survived by one son: John W. Hozyash, of Royersford, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by four siblings: John and Carl Scortico, Elizabeth Chuck and Anna James.
