Mary Hope Ibach, lovingly known as "Dee Dee," age 76, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. She was born in Pottstown to Hannah A. (Capoferri) and Alvin Burkett.

Dee Dee retired from her position as a bank teller at Citizens Bank in 2012. She was a self-published author who wrote three poetry books and actively participated in several writers' groups. Passionate about writing, she shared her poetry with over 10,000 followers on TikTok. Dee Dee embraced her faith in Jesus in April 1994 and reaffirmed it through baptism at Journey Church in Limerick on April 11, 2016. Known for her unwavering happiness and sense of blessing, she will be deeply missed by her loving family. Special thanks to Leslie, Tina and all her neighborhood friends for always looking out for her.

Dee Dee is survived by her three children: Melanie Fulmer, wife of Mark, and their three children, Jacob, Cory, husband of Joelle and father to Cora June and a baby boy on the way, and Zachary; her son Matthew Ibach, husband of Hilarie, and their two children, Myles and Maddox; and her daughter Elizabeth Hayden, wife of Cole. She is also survived by her brother Alvin Burkett; her sister Carol Ann Mennig, and her two children, David Mennig, father of Hannah and Haylie, mother of Estella, and David; and Jason Mennig, husband of Kim, father of Hailey, Tyler, and Luke.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael F. "Micky" Ibach, on July 21, 2000.
