She loved family events and occasions and attended as much as possible to involve herself in the lives of her extended family in a positive manner. Her home and later, her apartment, was highlighted by the many framed photographs of her children and grandchildren as she loved all of them equally. All her family knew that they could count on Nana for her support and the entire family continually kept her involved in the family occasions and developments. Mom was an avid gardener and kept her yard beautifully landscaped year-round. She loved fresh flowers and spending time outdoors on the porch or in the yard. Her home was always impeccably decorated for all occasions, seasons and holidays. Throughout their marriage, Mom and Dad enjoyed traveling together. Mom's favorite place being the Grand Canyon, Arizona when they traveled with a tour group and stayed at a hotel right on the edge of the canyon.
