Mary C. (Edleman) Perna, age 83, wife of the late Albert J. Perna, Sr., of Royersford, PA, died early Sunday morning, September 30th, 2007 in the Phoenixville Hospital.? Born in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late Clarence R. Edleman, Sr., and the late Edna (Hunsicker) Edleman.? Mrs. Perna attended the Royersford High School.? She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford all of her life.? She worked at the former Ben Franklin Variety store, and the Thriftway in Royersford.? In later years, she was the tour director for the Senior Fellowship Group of Limerick.? ??
Mrs. Perna is survived by; one daughter; Patricia A., wife of Robert A. Lane, of Harleysville, two sons; Albert J. Jr., husband of Grace (Heimbach) Perna, of Maryland, Dennis M., husband of Nancy (Sheppard) Perna, of Phoenixville, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister; Edna Pollock, three brothers; Robert, husband of Mary Ann Edleman, Ronald, husband of Caroline Edleman, Henry, husband of Joanne Edleman, and many nieces and nephews.? Mrs. Perna was pre-deceased by one sister; Dorothy Scherer, two brothers; Clarence R. Edleman, husband of Helen Edleman, of Spring City, and Paul V. Edleman.??Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday morning, October 5th, 2007 at 10:00 AM.?
