Mary Alice (Evans) Powell, age 86, wife of the late George N. Powell, Sr, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, formerly of Spring City and Pottstown, PA died late Friday night, November 26, 2010 in the Mercy Suburban Hospital, Norristown, PA. Born in South Coventry Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert W. and Sadie (Yeager) Evans.

Mrs. Powell is survived by two sons; George N. Powell, Jr, husband of Barbara (Hijosh) Powell, of Spring City, PA, Patrick G. Powell, of Pottstown, PA, one sister; Betty Yost, of Pottstown, three brothers; William Evans of Pottstown, Harry Evans, of Phoenixville, Albert Evans, of New York, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Tuesday morning, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Jack A. Mason. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
