Mary E. (Ronk) Robbins, age 87, wife of the late Donald Robbins, of Turnersville, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023 in Elkhart, Indiana. She was a daughter of the late Dorothy (Kershaw) and Elwood Ronk.

Born on April 15, 1935 in Heston, PA, Mary attended school in a one room schoolhouse until the 8th grade before graduating from Huntington High School in 1954. Mary attended C & M Alliance Church with her family and was saved at the age of 10 in September 1045. She was a Born Again Christian and attended church every Sunday.

Mary worked from the time she left Huntington until 1990, when she retired from Western Electric/AT&T in King of Prussia.

She loved to travel with her husband, having been to Hawaii several times and enjoyed a weeklong trip with her daughter, Tina, to Colorado and Utah. Mary learned to play golf from her husband, Donald, and enjoyed playing weekly. Her favorite past time was the time she spent reading books, especially the Bible.

Mrs. Robbins is survived by her children: Tina Jo (James) Horsey, Lisa (the late Randy) Connolly and Tom (Paula Scholl) Wise; stepchildren: Donald (Karen) Robbins Jr., Christopher (Lisa) Robbins and Renee (Nicholas) Vance; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings: Pearl Hunsberger, Sally Matthews and John Ronk. She was preceded in death by a sister: Charlotte Seitt.

Mary’s funeral and interment services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
