Mary (Fuga) Shepsko, age 89, wife of the late Joseph A. Shepsko, of Phoenixville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Meadows at Shannondell. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Fedor and Tekla (Masluk) Fuga.
Mrs. Shepsko was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church in Phoenixville, where she was involved with the Rosary Society and the Women's Guild. She was employed as an inspector at the former West Co. for many years. Mrs. Shepsko enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to the casino, as well as crocheting afghans for her entire family.
Mrs. Shepsko is survived by two daughters, Elaine, wife of Richard Menkins, of Phoenixville, and Jean Marie, wife of William Stephenson, of Phoenixville; one son, Richard, husband of Barbara Shepsko, of Phoenixville; two sisters, Sophia Frenz, of Stowe, and Helen Philipanics, of Royersford; one brother, Joseph Fuga, of Pottstown; beloved Nana to ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Theresa "Ginger" English; one son, Joseph P. Shepsko; one sister, Rose Szymanski; and three brothers, Stanley, John, and Stephen Fuga.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, 148 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Michael W. Rzonca. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Sunday evening, January 23, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM and on Monday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.
