Mary Ellen Sites was called home to our Lord on July 16, 2022. As a born-again believer, we can rejoice that she entered Heaven fully restored and made whole.

The youngest of seven children, Mary was born July 7, 1937 in Phoenixville to the late Winfield and Anna (Williams) Phillips.

Mary grew up on a farm located on Diamond Rock Hill in Phoenixville. She graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1955. She later met and married the love of her life, Chester C. Sites on April 13, 1957 and continued to live on Diamond Rock Hill until 1966, when they moved to Kimberton.

Mary was a faithful member of Valley Forge Baptist Church in Valley Forge, PA. She devoted most of her life to her family, but after her husband's passing in 1994, she went to work for the Dettra Flag Company, where she worked in the assembly and pinning of the flags. She had an artistic flair, enjoyed gardening and decorating her home, listening to country music and gospel music, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by one daughter, Lori E., wife of James Kenny of East Norriton, PA; two grandchildren, Tara M. Kenny and Brendan W. Kenny; and several nieces and nephews.
