Maryellen L. Wambold, age 66, wife of the late Feryl C. Wambold, Sr., of Royersford, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, December 25, 2016 in Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on April 18, 1950 in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late David and Mary Jane (Lockwood) Schierer. She was a homemaker.

Maryellen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Wambold was a lover of animals, especially of dolphins. She was a big Elvis and country music fan and was also very patriotic.

Maryellen is survived by Daughter, Amy I. Kriebel fiance of Dennis Vodopija, of Altoona, PA; Son, Christopher M.C., husband of Crystal Wambold of Spring City, PA; Grandchildren: Ariana Kriebel, Maura Kriebel, and Hunter Kriebel; Two Step-Daughters: Dana, wife of Jerry Low of Shinglehouse, PA and Helen, wife of the late Wardell Hankins of Middletown, PA; Step-Son, Thomas, husband of the late Kathy Wambold of Pottstown, PA; Sister, Ida Mae Mester of Pottstown; three step-grandchildren: Ashley Reed, Jessica Favinger, Timothy Wambold, and Richard Wright; eleven step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild. Son-in-Law, Ian Kriebel, of Allenwood, PA. She was pre-deceased by: Brother, William Schierer; Sister, Sarah Ann Schierer, Step-Son, Feryl C. Wambold, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Jack A. Mason. Burial will be held in the Union Cemetery of Bowers. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Contributions may be made to ASPCA.
