Matthew John Borrell, age 45, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Born in Phoenixville, he was the Son of Judith and George Borrell.

Matthew was a graduate of Berks Technical Institute. Matthew enjoyed spending time with friends and family, he liked to spend time outdoors, enjoyed working out, and bowling.

Matt is survived by his father, George R. Borrell Jr, his siblings, George III, Karen, Richard, and Bernice. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith (Eveland) Borrell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 838 Walnut St, Royersford, PA 19468, on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 10 AM. Officiating will be Fr. Gorka. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM- 9:45 AM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St, Royersford, PA 19468.
