Matthew D. Diehl, age 33, husband of Katie C. (McCourt) Diehl, of Royersford, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at home. Born in Denver, CO, he was a son of Carol A. (Fritz) Diehl.

Matt grew up playing all kinds of sports. He excelled at basketball, and would play in leagues all over the area, as well as for Spring-Ford High School, and his college, Mansfield University. He was a great father who loved his two sons.

In addition to his wife and mother, Matt is survived by two sons, Jeremy Davis and Derek Diehl.

Relatives and friends are invited at attend his memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1:00-3:00 PM.
