Matthew A. Fisher, age 53, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at home. Born on April 6, 1970 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of Judith (Custer) Fisher and the late Charles Fisher.

Matthew attended Phoenixville High School and he graduated from the Northern Chester County Technical School. For over 15 years, he worked as a maintenance technician at the Howard Johnson Hotel, Travel Lodge, and Super 8 in Carlisle. More recently, he worked in maintenance for The Klein Company Property Management Group. Matthew was active in Boy Scouts with his father and brother, earning his Eagle Scout at the age of 19. He was always active and on the go. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, going on hikes, and fishing. A knowledgeable and skilled handyman and craftsman, Matthew kept busy on constant projects.

In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by two daughters, Breanna Perez and her mother Christina Perez, and Jessica Fisher and her mother Michelle Carl; one step-daughter, Christina Cutlip; three siblings, Dawn Fisher, Curtis, husband of Lisa Fisher, and Tammy, wife of Kyle Wills; and several nieces and nephews.
