Maureen (Kelly) Keane, 69, wife of the late James F. Keane, of Malvern, formerly Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 25, 2011, in her residence. Born in Bryn Mawr, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Agnes (Conwell) Kelly.
Mrs. Keane was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. Along with her husband, she owned and operated the former Just Jeans Plus at the Valley Forge Mall. She was most recently employed at World Wide Collectibles in Berwyn. Mrs. Keane was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, collecting, gardening, and was an avid shopper. She was sassy, had a great sense of humor, and was always there for her friends and family.
Mrs. Keane is survived by: two daughters: Erin P. Keane of Pittsburgh and Colleen Anne wife of Jeffrey Springer of Jericho, VT; one son: James F. Jr. husband of Maryanne Keane of West Chester, five grandchildren: Troy, Sean, Shannon, and Joshua Springer and Ryan Keane; two sisters: Kathleen Fullam of Collegeville and Karen Gregory of Phoenixville; one brother: Robert J. Kelly of Phoenixville; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at St. Ann Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Gasper A. Genuardi. Interment will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
