Megan J. Shoap, age 33, of Pottstown, PA, formerly of Royersford, PA died suddenly on Friday, October 3, 2014 in Philadelphia. She is the daughter of J. Annette "Netsy" Shoap. Megan was a 2000 graduate of the Spring-Ford High School. She also received her degree in nursing from Temple University, Philadelphia. She worked as a nurse in the Royersford and Pottstown areas for many years. Most recently, Megan was working for the Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Upper Providence Township.

In addition to her mother, Megan is survived by her three children: Morgan R. Kunze, Marcus C. Kunze, Riley A. Altemus; maternal grandparents: Jean "Ninner" and Joe Dinnocenti of Royersford; Aunts: Connie Baez, Sandy Shanley; Cousins: Nicole Fox, Kelsea Shanley, Randy Fox and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Tuesday evening, October 14th, 2014 at 7:30PM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 6:00 - 7:15PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Megan ran and supported many causes throughout her life.
