On April 13, 2026, Melvin Edgar Ebert left this world as gracefully as he lived in it, surrounded by the love of his family. His life was grounded in the love he held for his family, his faith, and his generous spirit. He carried himself with quiet strength, steadfast devotion, and a deep, enduring love for those closest to him. He was the beloved son of Anna (née Schrack) and Morris J. Ebert.
Melvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great‐grandfather, and each of them brought him immense pride and joy. He leaves behind his wife and lifelong companion, Edna Ebert (née Geib); his daughter, Lynn Hearn; his grandsons Brandon, Christopher, and Matthew Hearn; and his great‐granddaughters Marley and Cameron Hearn, all of whom were the light of his later years. Their accomplishments and laughter filled him with pride.
A graveside memorial service will take place at Great Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2025 Swedesford Road, Malvern, PA, on April 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
