Merrie Joy Mayerson-Ewald, 43, wife of Kenneth Ewald, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 19, 2009, in her residence. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Melanie Greisler-Mayerson and Hy Mayerson and Colleen Koos-Mayerson.

She was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, and attended Philadelphia County Community College and Antonelli Photography School. Mrs. Mayerson-Ewald loved her pets, horseback riding, photography, walking and walking her dogs.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by, her step-son, Jacob Ewald-Milyo, sisters, Stephanie Finkbiner and Erin McDevitt, brothers, Benjamin Mayerson and Elijah Waterman, seven nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
