Obituary

Michael R. Ciano, 81, husband of Carol T. (DiMaggio) Ciano, of Limerick, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Keystone Villas, Douglassville. Born on January 13, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Carmela (Aquilla) and Angelo Ciano.

Michael served in the United States Army where he spent time in Italy as a young man. He was employed at Sperry Univac (now Unisys) starting as a computer repair technician working his way up to many Director positions. One of these positions took his family to London, England for over 7 years. Michael was an avid traveler and gracious host who enjoyed sharing his passions with family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Ciano is survived by his sons: Michael J. Ciano, and wife, Karey, of Pottstown, Edward J. Ciano, and wife, Lisa, of Pottstown and Russell J. Ciano, and wife Heidi, of Limerick; seven grandchildren; step grandchildren; and two sisters: Ann Uzzo, of North Venice, FL and Phyllis Ripley, of Glastonbury, CT.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Good Shepherd Chapel, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Deacon David Kubczak. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to Alzheimer’s Association (https://act.alz.org/donate).
