Michael Allan Dulisse, age 71, husband of Kathleen A. (Keim) Dulisse, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022. Born on March 2, 1951, in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Carl and Rosemary (Dilliplaine) Dulisse.
Mike was a graduate of the class of 1969 from St. Pius X High School in Pottstown, and he attended Penn State University. As a surveyor, civil engineer, and consultant, he owned and operated Landform Technical Services, a civil engineering firm in Maryland. He also worked and consulted for several other engineering companies over the years.
Mike was a talented and accomplished photographer. His photographs have won awards and been shown in local museums. He also contributed his work to a published book, The River Speaks, outlining the history and lore of the Mathothy River, near his home in Annapolis, Maryland. Mike was a history buff and a former member of the American Mountain Men. He was an avid hiker, and he enjoyed exploring the outdoors and teaching his granddaughters about the plants they encountered on their hikes. He enjoyed cars and auto racing, as well as architecture. Mike was a board member of the Reflections of Turtle Island Foundation in Pottstown, which sponsors the Native American Powwow in Pottstown and provides food and clothing for the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his daughter, Jennifer, wife of John Vanskiver of Fallston, MD; two granddaughters, Zoe and Jena; three siblings, Carl Dulisse, Diane (Dulisse), wife of John Wunderlich, and Donna (Dulisse), wife of Franco Faggi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Pottstown, PA. Friends will be received on Thursday evening, December 29, 2022 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, and again on Friday morning from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Reflections of Turtle Island Foundation, 245 Walnut Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
