Michael Miskiewicz, Jr., age 83, husband of Martha (Sissler) Miskiewicz, of Pottstown, PA died on Monday morning, November 29, 2010 in the Manatawny Manor. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Michael, Sr. and Mary (Zawsoski) Miskiewicz. Mr. Miskiewicz was a member of Centennial Lutheran Church. He proudly served his country in the Army. A devoted husband and father, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Miskiewicz is survived by; two daughters, Sharon V., wife of John Gerhart, of Phoenixville, and Jane A., wife of Raymond Kramer, Jr., of Phoenixville; two sons, David N., husband of Kimberly Miskiewicz, of North Carolina, and Donald K. Miskiewicz, of Norristown; seven grandchildren, Nicole Uba, Michael and Ashley Kramer, Kathy Gerhart, Amy, Matthew, and Erin Miskiewicz; two sisters, Sue Barber, of West Chester, and Rusty Bodnar, of Phoenixville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters; Josephine Majcher, Mickey Bennett, Frances Balogh, and Tina Wassell; and four brothers, Stanley, John, Joseph, and Bill Miskiewicz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Manatawny Manor, 30 Old Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, PA 19465 on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Friends will be received from 1:30-2:00 PM at Manatawny Manor. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
