Michael S. Mooney, age 46, of Albrightsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at home. Born on May 29, 1971 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of Robert E. and Bette (Holman) Mooney of Reading, PA.

Michael attended Spring City Elementary School in the Spring-Ford school district, and graduated from the Owen J. Roberts High School. He worked most of his career as a plant and warehouse manager in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Since moving to Albrightsville, he has been active with the Towamensing Trails Lake and Tennis Club.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by two brothers, Douglas B., husband of Mary Mooney of Royersford, PA, and Andrew T. Mooney of West Chester, PA; three nieces and nephews, Mary Kate, Colin, and Erin Mooney; and his beloved American Mastiff, Bella.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Steven Simpson. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
