Michael E. Sosa, 83, of Limerick, husband of the late Betty (Fillman) (Rhoads) Sosa, passed away on Thursday, December 08, 2011, in his residence. Born in Cuba, he was a son of the late Miguel and Maria (Morejon) Sosa.

Mr. Sosa served in the United States Army and Merchant Marines. He was employed at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 30 years. He was a huge Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. An avid golfer, Michael was a member of the Limerick Golf Club.

Mr. Sosa is survived by two sons, Leslie M. husband of Kim Sosa, of Limerick and Robert A. Sosa companion of Mary Ingram, of Spring City; three brothers, Raymond Sosa, of Royersford, Jesse Sosa, of Boyertown, and Richard Sosa, of Birdsboro; four grandchildren, David, Jason, Nick and Cody Sosa; and one great granddaughter, Noelle Sosa.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
