Michael J. Ward, age 41, husband of Lisa A. (Brecker) Ward, of Collegeville, PA died after a lengthy illness on Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2009 in his home. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he was a son of Marvin E., and Jane (Mitchell) Ward. He was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School, in Indiana and Purdue University with a degree in business management. Mr. Ward worked as a financial advisor for the Raymond James Company in Wayne, PA. He was a member of the St. Eleanor's R.C. Church in Collegeville, and the Ancient Order of the Hibernians.

In addition to his parents and wife of 13 years, Mr. Ward is survived by; Two Daughters; Emily E. Ward and Sarah N. Ward, One Sister; Elizabeth J., wife of Randy McKeen, One Brother; John L., husband of Jennifer (Stegman) Ward, and Eight Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the St. Eleanor's Roman Catholic Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426 on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 12:00 PM. Officiating will be the Rev. Msgr. Patrick E. Sweeney. Burial will be in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received during the luncheon following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the "Michael J. Ward Memorial Fund", C/O Phoenixville Federal, 70 North Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468.
