Mildred M. (Howard) Kirkner, age 93, wife of the late Harry B. Kirkner, of Phoenixville, died early Saturday morning, November 29, 2008 in the Golden Living Center, Phoenixville, PA.? Born in Collegeville she was a daughter of Edwin Howard and Lillian Mae (Swager) Byerley, wife of Charles Byerley.? She was a graduate of the Phoenixville High School.? Mrs. Kirkner was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Phoenixville, PA.? She worked for many years at the former Grant's Department store in Phoenixville as a sales clerk.?
Mrs. Kirkner is survived by; one daughter; Doris M., wife of John F. Woods, of Phoenixville, two sons; Eugene B., husband of Linda (Barker) Kirkner, of Phoenixville, Robert E., husband of Marilyn (Levengood) Kirkner, of Phoenixville, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.?
