Minnie (Barr) Woodward, age 98, wife of the late Allen Woodward, of Cornwall, PA, formerly of Royersford, PA, died Saturday evening, May 24th, 2008 in the Cornwall Manor Nursing Home, Cornwall, PA.? Born in Bernville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Morris and Minnie (Schock) Barr.? Mrs. Woodward was a 1926 graduate of the Phoenixville High School.? She was a long term member of the Royersford United Methodist Church.? She worked for over 20 years as a licensed practing nurse at the Montgomery Geriatric and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Providence, before retiring in 1972.? After her retirement, Mrs. Woodward volunteered for over 13 years for the American Red Cross at the Geriatric Center.? She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Humane Fire Company in Royersford, the Friendship Fire Company in Royersford, and the Kimberton Grange, #1304.?
