Morrison C. Huston, age 88, wife of Christine M. (Hearn) Huston, of Chester Springs, PA, died peacefully at home on Thursday evening, February 14th, 2008.? Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Aubrey and Helen L. (Coates) Huston.? He attended the Episcopal Academy, St. George's School and Princeton.? Following naval service in WWII, Mr. Huston worked as Textile Marketing Director for DuPont Nemours, retiring in 1982. He served on Boards of The Church Council for the Exceptional Person, Caron International, United Way of Chester County, Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, Green Valleys Assn., French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust and was a long-time member and past president of The Countrymen's Club.
In addition to his wife Christine, Mr. Huston is survived by daughters Evelyn Q., wife of Christopher H. Getman of Hamden, CT; Priscilla H. Huston, of Kimberton, PA; a son, Morrison C. Huston, Jr., husband of Elizabeth C. Huston, of Philadelphia, PA; a step-son, Adam C. Tessier, of Santa Rosa, California; five grandchildren and ?eight great-grandchildren.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Church of the Good Shepherd, Lancaster and Montrose Avenues, Rosemont, PA 19010 on Saturday, March 1st, 2008 at 3 PM.?
