Nancy A. (Moore) Bitler, age 80, wife of James E. Bitler of Warwick Township, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in the Pottstown Hospital, Pottstown, PA. She was born on March 18, 1943 in Spring City, PA.

Mrs. Bitler was a graduate of Warwick High School. She was a doting wife and mother, and spent much of her adult life tending to her home and family.

Mrs. Bitler was an active member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Knauertown, where she was involved with the Dorcas class, white elephant and helped as a poll worker during elections. She was also instrumental during Christmas and holiday bazaars, where she often provided decorations and crafts.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, Mrs. Bitler is survived by six children, Todd Bitler, Michael Bitler, Roger Bitler, Kimberly, wife of Eric Becker, Gregory Bitler, and Allison, wife of Kevin Thompson, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Scott Bitler, and two siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at St. Peter United Church of Christ Knauertown, 1920 Ridge Road, Pottstown, PA on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Peter Detterline. Burial will follow in the St. Peter United Church of Christ Cemetery, Pottstown, PA. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at the church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. Peter United Church of Christ at the address above.
