Obituary

Nancy Jean (Copes) Kaercher, age 78, wife of Leo Kaercher, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the Paoli Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late William & Nancy Copes.

Nancy was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with friends or family. Nancy also loved to take trips to the casinos, where she was always a big winner. Nancy enjoyed playing slot machines at the Valley Forge Casino and, when not at the casino, she loved to shop for family and friends. Nancy was a very generous gift giver. Most of all Nancy loved spending time with her family that she cherished. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and dear friend to all and she will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Nancy is survived by Leo, her loving husband of 58 years, as well as her four sons and their wives: Mark and Sylvia Kaercher, Douglas and Erin Kaercher, Steven and Sandy Kaercher, and Christopher Kaercher; two sisters and husbands, Sandy and Richard Masucci, Margie and Stewart Ritter; step-mother, Ethel Copes; as well as her eight loving grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Lee Kaercher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Nancy on Monday evening, November 12, 2018 from 6:00PM 8:00PM, at the CampbellEnnisKlotzbach Funeral Home Inc, Phoenixville PA. Relatives and friends will also be received on Tuesday morning, November 13, 2018 from 9:30AM 10:15AM at the St. Basil the Great R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road PO Box 637, Kimberton, Pennsylvania. Mass will follow the viewing at 10:30AM, Officiating will be Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 919 Walnut St. #7A, Philadelphia PA, 19107. Condolences may be made by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
