Nancy E. (Long) McKenrick, age 74, of Royersford, PA died Monday afternoon, February 12, 2013 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Worcester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles I. Long and Bertha (Van Fossen) Long. She attended school in Pottstown. Mrs. McKenrick worked for over 50 years as a short order cook at the Moore's Colonial Limerick Diner.
Mrs. McKenrick is survived by two sons: T. Keith, husband of Lori (Johnson) McKenrick, of Port Allegany, PA; H. Charles McKenrick, of Royersford, PA; four siblings: Kathryn, wife of Edward Moore, of Schwenksville, PA; Sara, wife of the late Buck Frederick, of Gilbertsville, PA; Althea Fizz, of Collegeville, PA; Naomi, wife of John Rose, of Zieglerville, PA; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McKenrick was pre-deceased by three siblings: Ernest Long; Harold Long; Mary Norris.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday, February 15th, 2013 at 11:30AM. Officiating will be her son, Mr. T. Keith McKenrick. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:30AM Friday morning at the funeral home.
