Obituary

Nancy E. (Leppanen) Mokrejs, 78, widow of the late Vladimir Mokrejs, of Birchrunville, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at her residence. Born in Ironwood, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late William and Susanna (Erickson) Leppanen.

Mrs. Mokrejs received a degree in occupational therapy from the former Michigan Normal School and served in the United States Army as an occupational therapist during the Korean War. She taught the Good News Club, was a census taker, but taking care of her children and family was her priority.

Mrs. Mokrejs is survived by two daughters, Yolana wife of Christopher Saulnier, of Maine, and Jonelle wife of Kevin Tholan of Pughtown, two sons, David husband of Terri Mokrejs of Elverson and Ned Mokrejs of Coatesville, four sisters, Edith Cutter, Adeline Kuzas, Susan Wagner, and Joann Manning, three brothers, Norbert, David, and Clifford Leppanen, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Mokrejs, three sisters, and four brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Calvary Chapel Chester Springs, 217 Dowlin Forge Road, Exton, PA, on Friday, July 2, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Steve Hobbs officiating. Friends will be received from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Chapel. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
