Nancy J. Sheppard, age 86, wife of the late Harold "Shep" Sheppard and companion of 21 years to Randall Smith, of Spring City, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family at home on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Born on November 25, 1936 in Royersford, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Marion (Greiner) Krasley.

Mrs. Sheppard was a graduate of Royersford High School, class of 1954. She was a wonderful homemaker, having always maintained immaculate flower gardens. She also took great pride and joy in her koi fish ponds. In addition to gardening, she also had a special place in her heart for cats.

Mrs. Sheppard is survived by three children, Michael R. Bauer, Cynthia L., wife of Stephen Batten Sr., and Wendy L., wife of John Iezzi; two grandsons, Stephen Jr., husband of Kimberly Batten and Jeremy Batten; two great-grandchildren, Stephen III and Brynnlee; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Harold Krasley Jr., Ray Krasley, Elizabeth Weidenbaugh, Edith Weidenbaugh, Paul Krasley, Phyllis Murdoch, and Marion Slaybaugh.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
