Obituary

Nicholas Lewiski Sr., 85, husband of Florence L. (Long) Lewiski, of Linfield, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Linfield, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Potozniak) Lewiski.

Mr. Lewiski served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II. He served in the Normandy Invasion and received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
Mr. Lewiski was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta R.C. Church, was a lifetime member of the Pottsgrove Sportsman's Club and an avid hunter. He retired from Keystone/LaSalle Steel in Spring City. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, Mr. Lewiski is survived by his daughter, Barbara L., wife of Rowland Love, of South Coventry, two sons, Nicholas Lewiski Jr., of Limerick and Glenn J., husband of Marla Lewiski, of Chester Springs, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four sisters. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta R. C. Church 1228 Main Street, Linfield, on Friday, November 20, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul C. Brandt officiating. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 8:30-10:45 a.m. at the Church. Memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, PO Box 229, Limerick, PA 19468. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford.
