Nicholas V. Messina, 91, widower of Jean Ann Messina, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Arden Court, King of Prussia, PA.
He was born in Naples, Italy to the late Vincent and Margaret (Paladino) Messina. Mr. Messina served honorably with the Army during World War II. He was employed as a chemist for Rohm and Haas until retiring.
He is survived by his children: Paula Byrem (Jeffrey), of Kennett Square; Carolyn Golden (Joseph), of Rockledge, FL; Steven Messina, of Roslyn; grandchildren: Erika Fad, Robert Fad Jr. (Sonia), Brian Schwenk (Brooke), Jeffrey Schwenk (Erin); great-grandchildren: Jackson, Tyler, and Colin Schwenk; brother, Ralph Messina (Josephine), of West End, NC.
A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA. Burial will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Ocean View Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
