Nikki Tara Hertzog, 30, wife of Philip James Hertzog of Schwenksville, passed away on Thursday, September 16th, 2010, at her home. She was born in Tunkhannock to Linda (Bisch) Pencek of Nicholson, and the late Gary Pencek. Nikki graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School, Luzerne Community College, and also attended Temple University. Mrs. Hertzog was also an active member of the NorthPointe Community Church as well as its Womens' Ministry.

In addition to her husband of five years and mother, Mrs. Hertzog is survived by her beautiful daughter Emma Rose Hertzog, at home; her brother Robert Atkinson and wife Mary, of Pikeville NC; Grandparents Richard and Bertha Benton of Tunkhannock, PA; Father and Mother-in-Law, Mark and Kathleen Hertzog, of Silverdale, PA; Sisters-in-Law, Sarah McKay and husband Tom, of Quakertown, Liz Hertzog of Los Angeles; and Anna Hertzog of Silverdale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Berean Bible Church 2675 East High Street, Pottstown PA, 19464 on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:30 AM. Officiating will be Pastor Randy Johnson. Burial will be in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:30 AM on Tuesday at the church.
