Orville M. "Mich" Otis Jr., age 89, husband of the late Joan M. (Wilke) Otis, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the Pottstown Hospital. Born on February 27, 1936, in Coldwater, Michigan, he was a son of the late Virginia and Orville M. Otis Sr.

Mich proudly served as a radio repairman in the United States Army from 1955-1957. A member of the Telford Ham Radio Club, he loved ham radio and was identified by the call sign K8IU.

Mich loved to learn, enjoyed math and also completing math problems. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed spending time outside, often working meticulously on his lawn. In his younger years, he loved to hunt and fish.

Mich is survived by his daughter: Adrienne M., wife of Frank Pastella; grandsons: Anthony J. and Brett W. Pastella; and several beloved nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his interment with Army Funeral Honors on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Fernwood Cemetery, 988 S. Township Line Road, Royersford.
