Patricia A. Barnett, 85, formerly of Royersford, passed away on Monday, January 05, 2015 at Keystone Villa, Douglassville, PA. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Barnett Sr., who died in November 2010.
She was born in Norristown to the late Joseph and Alice (Fitzpatrick) English. Pat was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, Norristown, PA. In addition to being a wife, mother and homemaker, she was employed at Sacred Heart School and the former A&P Market. In retirement, she and her husband Bunk moved to Delaware and spent many great years with their family at the beach. They also enjoyed traveling all over supporting their grandchildren in their sporting and school events.
She is survived by her children: Patricia M., wife of Jerry Trowbridge, of Royersford; Robert J. Jr., husband of Julia (Hoff) Barnett, of Linfield; Kimberly A., wife of Carl Talley, of Royersford; sister, Constance (English) Lawless, widow of Bernard, of Royersford; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta R.C. Church, 256 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. Officiating will be Rev. Paul C. Brandt. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-10:45 AM at the church. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.
