Patricia L. (Greger) Barney, age 62, wife of the late Joseph G. Barney, Sr., of Phoenixville, PA died on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in her home. Born in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of Sarah E. (McKenna) Greger, of Lansdale, PA and the late Jack C. Greger. She was a 1969 graduate of the Collegeville-Trappe High School. Mrs. Barney worked as a hair stylist for many years in the Skippack and Lansdale areas. She was also a PIAA basketball referee and an active member of the Officials Association. She was a life-long Philadelphia Eagles football fan.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Barney is survived by two brothers: James G., husband of Louise Greger, of Royersford; Richard J., husband of Christina Greger, of Levittown, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barney was pre-deceased by one brother: Steven A. Greger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Main Street at third avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be held privately in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:15 AM Monday morning at the Church.
