Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Mary (McFarland) Mobley, age 76, wife of Terrance B. Mason, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville after enduring a long battle with cancer. Born on September 29, 1944 in Anselma, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Richards) McFarland and Wesley McFarland.

Pat’s greatest love was her family and time spent with them was her everything. Pat’s joyful heart and forever cheerful way about her made the world a happier place. She loved visiting Ocean City with her daughters and watching football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles with her husband. Her very special joy was her grandchildren Michaela Joy and her husband Jacob and Gabriel her sweet angel. She was so very proud of them in each and every accomplishment in their lives. A strong woman of Baptist faith, she was the most kind hearted, warm, and welcoming person one could ever meet. Pat made her life a one of never ending giving to others and the lives she impacted will forever be strong because of her.

In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by her loving daughters: Patricia J. Slagter van Tryon, wife of Wouter Slagter, of King of Prussia and Mary P. Helsel, wife of Thomas D. Helsel, of Windber; her dearly loved grandchildren: Michaela J. (Helsel) Miller, wife of Jacob D. Miller and Gabriel B. Helsel; Sisters: Margaret E. Landers, Eleanor P. Strang, Twin Sister: Elizabeth Capetola, and Ella Jackson, Brother: Paul V. McFarland Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Sisters: Frances H. Johnston, Marian D. Fox, and brothers: James B. McFarland Sr., Theodore H. McFarland, and Wesley T. McFarland.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, funeral services and burial will be held privately at the Church of the Good Samaritan, Paoli, Pennsylvania Saturday March 20, 2021 with family only.
