Patricia "Pat" Sattolo, of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2024, following an extended illness.

Pat was born February 17th, 1936, in Washington, D.C. to Romuald and Ann (Clements) Hite. The youngest of four children, Pat is preceded in death by her brothers Romuald Jr. and Charles Hite, beloved granddaughter Jessica Hossler, and beloved nephew Tyler Zimmerman. She is survived by her devoted husband Arthur Sattolo, brother Reverend Richard Hite, and her five daughters: Elaine, wife of Paul Hossler, Janice, wife of Marty Thomas, Ann Sattolo-Gano, Susan, wife of Andrew Joseph, and Deborah, wife of Steven Palmucci; fourteen grandchildren: Kristen, Samantha, Paul III, Mary-Kate, Graham, Mallow, Lillian, Olivia, Emily, Elizabeth, Theodore, Steven, Alyssa, and Christina; and five great grandchildren: Robert-John, Rosalia, Leonidas, Sam Jr., and Theresa.

Pat graduated from Saint Anthony's Roman Catholic High School in Washington DC in 1954 followed by The Washington School for Secretaries. She began her career as a secretary serving the office of the 14th Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Earl Warren. In 1959, she married Arthur Sattolo and left the workforce to raise five daughters. In the 1980's, Pat traded her typewriter for a computer and returned to the workforce at Lockheed Martin as an Executive Administrative Assistant in the Legal Department, bringing her signature laughter and sense of organization to the aerospace industry.

A highly value-centered woman, Pat volunteered in a variety of leadership positions in the Phoenixville community over the years, such as St. Ann's PTA, Art Goes to School, and Meals on Wheels, to name a few. A lifelong, faithful Catholic, Pat served as an Ecumenical minister at Phoenixville Hospital, counseled women at the local Birthright office, and led St. Ann's chapter of Voices of the Faithful. Pat also expressed her deep and abiding love for the Church by lending her talents to the design and maintenance of the gardens at St. Ann's. Her love of flowers and greenery were also on full display inside the chapel sanctuary for decades. She took as much pride beautifying her church home as she did her primary home, both of which took on a special shine on holidays and holy days.

In addition to gardening and flower arranging, Pat was a master seamstress, sewing everything from homemade pj's to gorgeous window treatments, prom gowns, wedding dresses, church vestments, and even reupholstered furniture. Pat also developed a lifelong love of tennis. She played in a regular Monday evening tennis group until recent years, enjoying both the game and the equally long wine and pizza gab sessions that followed.

Most of all, Pat knew the importance of togetherness and family. She welcomed lively conversation at the dinner table, hosted countless Spaghetti Sunday dinners, and hosted her children and grandchildren at the annual family week at the shore. Pat was always game for water gun battles in the pool, hunting for ghost crabs at night and even playing a game of beer pong.

Pat was loved and admired by all who knew her. She is remembered by her zest for life, infectious laughter, and the love of her family. Pat will continue to live on through the strong spirit and determination that is still seen in her daughters and grandchildren today.

Friends and family are invited to attend Pat's funeral mass on Thursday, October 3rd at St Ann's chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville. The viewing will be from 9:30 - 10:45 am followed by Mass at 11. The burial will take place at the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard.
