Patrick F. McKenna, III, age 86, husband of the late Sarah May (Rutland) McKenna, of Royersford, PA, died Monday afternoon, February 1, 2010 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Patrick F. McKenna, Jr and Mary (Erdmann) McKenna. He attended the Mastbaum High School in Phila. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Sterlet in the South Pacific. He worked as an electrician for the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia and retired from the Graterford Prison. Mr. McKenna was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford. He was a member of the Long Beach Island Fishing Club.

He is survived by; Three Sons; Patrick F. McKenna, of Darby, PA, Edward J. (Joanne) McKenna, of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Joseph W. McKenna, of Linfield, Three Daughters; Phyllis, wife of Howard Pruyn, of Philadelphia, Susan, wife of Wayne Raudenbush, of Pottstown, PA, Dorothy, wife of Harry Raudenbush, of Philadelphia, Ten Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren, Two Sisters; Helen Leyden, of Williamstown, NJ, Theresa Bader, of York, PA, One Brother; William McKenna, of Williamstown, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Thursday morning, February 4, 2010 at 10:30AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Timothy M. Judge. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford. Friends will be received from 7:00 - 8:30PM Wednesday evening or from 9:00 - 10:00 AM Thursday morning at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA.
