Paul J. Cote Sr., of Phoenixville, passed away at Phoenixville Hospital on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at age 79.? He was the husband of Rose Marie (Paczok) Cote.?
He was born in Anson, ME to the late Marcel and Alice (Marchand) Cote.? After graduation from Madison High School in Madison, ME he enlisted in the Navy and served during the Korean War onboard the USS Worcester.? While onboard he was able to sail around the world.?
Paul was employed for many years as a supervisor at Deluxe Check Printers, Paoli, PA.? He was a member of the American Legion and VFW both of Phoenixville.? He also was an active member of the Phoenixville YMCA, where he spent every morning exercising.?
In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by: three daughters, Jamie Cote, of Mont Clare, Lisa Hnatin, of Muncy, PA and Danielle Cote, of Charlottesville, VA; two sons, Paul J. Jr., of New Market, MD and David J. of Olathe, KS; one brother, Norman Cote, of Camden, ME; grandchildren: Raina, Rhiannon, Jada, Moriah, Cody, Candace and Sarah and great-granddaughter, Lily.? He was? preceded in death by a son, Mark J. Cote, in 1999.

His funeral mass will be held this Saturday at 10 AM at St. Ann R.C. Church, Main St. at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.? Officiating will be Rev. John J. Newns.? Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.? Calling hours will be from 7-9 PM on Friday at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.?
