Obituary

Paul T. Ferguson, Jr. (Rusty), 64, of Coatesville died peacefully on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was the son of Paul T. Ferguson Sr. and Dolores J. Ferguson., who both preceded him in death in May and December, 2017.

Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the first son of the late Paul and Dolores Snyder Ferguson, and an older brother to Mark and Brian. Mark preceded him in death in 1995.

Surviving him is his youngest brother, Brian K., and wife, Wendy, and his three nieces, Paige Elizabeth, Victoria Erin and Bethany Jane.

Rusty loved spending time with his family as he was growing up. He especially loved spending the holidays with Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. Rusty loved animals and had many pets over the years, including his beloved parakeet, Ernie. Rusty "loved life" where he would greet everyone with a handshake. His happy disposition will be missed very much. Always laughing and smiling, Rusty would join in the fun and be the first to welcome his friends to join in. His love for music and art was noticed by all, but most of all was his love for Philadelphia sports teams. He especially loved the "Phillies" and always brought them luck. Rusty was extremely handsome in his "Eagles" jacket.

Rusty also had a second family where he lived at The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence, in a community living smaller, residential setting. He was loved very much by his brothers and sisters there, including all his caretakers, program and medical team. He attended Clifton Heights Adult Day Program, where he joined in every activity and was first on the bus each morning.
