Paul D. Ley-Harris, age 48, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, East Norriton, PA. Born on October 11, 1976 in Huntington, IN, he was a son of Irma T. Portuondo and John Ley-Harris.
Paul was raised in Montclair, NJ, and he graduated from the Dover High School in Dover, NJ. He went on to further his education by studying criminal justice.
Paul was an avid reader, and enjoyed works by Leo Tolstoy. He was a history buff who specifically enjoyed military history. A coffee fiend, he found great joy in cooking. Always longing to become a herpetologist, he had an affection for snakes. He also loved heavy metal music and was proud of his GI Joe collection.
Paul is survived by his two brothers, Peter, husband of Elke Li of Pottstown, PA and Joseph Sima of Chester, NJ; his uncles and aunt, Carlos Li of Union City, NJ, Laura & Danny Grable of Long Island, NY, and George Portuondo of Mt. Vernon, NY; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by one Uncle, Michael Portuondo.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
