Paul R. Stofko, 79, husband of the late Carol Ann (Reardon) Stofko, of Fountain Hills AZ, formerly Phoenixville PA, passed away on November 15, 2015 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born on December 9, 1935 in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Ella B. Churach and Michael Stofko.
He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Along with his wife, for 35 years, he was owner of Phoenix Travel Agency in Phoenixville. Through his business, he was a world traveler, but also shared trips and adventures with his family and friends.
Paul fell in love with Arizona while going to Spring Training with his sons and decided to make it his home. He loved being outside by the pool, reading and listening to his music with his beloved canine companion Jimmy.
Mr. Stofko is survived by two daughters: Ilona, wife of Lawrence Powers, of Sierra Vista, AZ and Marjorie Stephens, of Atlanta, GA; three sons: Paul, husband of Laura Stofko, of Phoenixville, PA, James Stofko, of Buffalo, NY and Matthew, husband of Kathleen Stofko, of Pottstown, PA; grandchildren, Jillian and Douglas Powers and Amanda, Katelyn, Kacie, Daniel and Zachary Stofko; and brother, Eugene Stofko, of Green Valley, AZ. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Souder.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial mass at St. Ann R.C. Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Interment will be held in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Stowe. Friends will be received from 10:30 am - 11:00 am at St. Ann Church.
