Pauline A. (Troiani) DePietropaolo, age 85, died at her home in Royersford on April 9, 2008.? She was the much-loved wife of Edward DePietropaolo and mother of the couple's three grown children.? Originally from Kingston, PA, she resided for the past 50 years in the Royersford home that her husband built.? A 1940 graduate of Kingston High School, she worked at the Hazard Corporation of Wilkes-Barre, PA, during the Second World War, where she helped manufacture torpedo nets that were used to protect U.S. harbors during that conflict.? She was a stellar homemaker for the rest of her years, and her friendliness, upbeat attitude and unlimited hospitality will be remembered forever by family, friends and even acquaintances.?
She is survived by her husband, Edward DePietropaolo; son, Dr. Daniel DePietropaolo and his wife Lisa Lalama of Wilmington, DE; daughter Mary Szychowski and her husband Michael of Oley, PA and son Lawrence DePietropaolo of Royersford.? She has four grandchildren:? Marie Anders and husband LeRoy of Douglassville, PA; Jacob Szychowski and wife Sharon of Oley, PA; Megan DePietropaolo of New York City and Andrew DePietropaolo of Newark, DE.? Also surviving are her two sisters and three brothers:? Lucy Nicholson of Turnersville, NJ; Anita Ankner of Mountaintop, PA; Frank Troiani of Cherry Hill, NJ; Peter Troiani of Phoenixville, PA and Richard Troiani of Glassboro, NJ, and great granddaughter, Olivia Grace Anders.?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Saturday morning, April 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM.?
