Pearl E. McElroy, 93, widow of the late Frank E. McElroy, died Monday, April 3, 2017, at Phoenixville Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late J. Wesley and Elizabeth Reitmeyer Piersol. Born in Pine Swamp, Warwick Township, she graduated from Warwick High School, in Knaurtown.

She and Frank married October 4, 1946. They celebrated 50 years of marriage prior to his passing, in 1997.

A homemaker and retired salesperson, she worked many years for Britts Department Store, Coventry Mall.

She was a member of Coventryville United Methodist Church, for over 50 years. Through those years, she was active in different ladies circles and Friendly Fellowship.

Pearl is survived by three sons, Frank W. (Bernadette), Gilbertsville; Bernard K. (Kathleen), North Coventry; and Larry K. (Heidi), Boyertown; and daughter, Edith M., with whom she resided; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pearl was predeceased by son James Frank (1947).

Arrangements are by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Coventryville Cemetery, Coventryville.
