Perma A. Scortico, 94, of Schwenksville, PA died on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Greenfields Assisted Living Center. She was the wife of the late Carl J. Scortico.
She was born in Royersford to the late Robert and Carlton (Long) Bergstresser. She attended Royersford Schools and was employed for many years at Needleworks, Royersford and Valley Forge Flag Company, Spring City, PA. Mrs. Scortico was a member of Royersford Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her children: Patricia Burns, widow of Joseph, of Pottstown; Doris Smythers, of Ft. McCoy, FL; Perma “Penny” Steed, wife of Robert, of Homestead, FL; Robert C. Scortico, husband of Deborah, of Winchendon, MA; sister: Doris Mock, wife of Robert, of Royersford; and 52 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by siblings: Sara Wildermuth, Betty Andrews, Robert Bergstresser and Henry Bergstresser.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
