Obituary

Phillip D. Beaver, age 70, husband of Donna L. (McKinstry) Beaver, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on November 20, 1950 in New York, NY, he was a son of the late Charles M. and Beverly J. (Milligan) Beaver.

Mr. Beaver was a 1969 graduate of Phoenixville High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, honorably serving in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge, he reenlisted in National Guard, retiring after a combined 35 years of military service. Mr. Beaver also worked as a security guard for Exelon at the Limerick Generating Station for many years. He was a dedicated husband and family oriented man, and he loved fishing.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Beaver is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Beaver of Phoenixville, PA; four step-children, Joseph Burnett of Phoenixville, PA, Edward, husband of Kim Burnett of Freehold, NJ, Paula Burnett, wife of William of Doylestown, PA, and Christopher Sr., husband of Patricia Burnett of Lancaster, PA; nine grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Michael, Daniel, Ryan, Johnathan, Nate, Jake, and Kacie; three brothers, Charles M., husband of Tina Beaver of Milliken, CO, Johnnie D., husband of Sandy Beaver of Jonestown, PA, and Harry J., husband of Cheryl Beaver of Rockledge, FL; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Disabled American Veterans by visiting www.dav.org/donate.
