R. JACK FOUT Age 82

R. Jack Fout, husband of Mildred E. (Reese) Fout, passed away on Saturday afternoon, September 12, 2009 in the Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Ethel K. (Evans) Fout. Jack attended Pottstown High School where he played on the Basketball, Baseball and Football teams. A Veteran, Mr. Fout served in the U.S. Navy as Seaman First Class. He was formerly employed at the Schultz's Baking Co., Frank Smith Beverage Co. and Dames Chevrolet. He was a member of the German Club and Quoit Club of Pottstown. He was also part of the Forties Gang, Ellis's Drug Store Group, and the Dutch Grill Guys. He enjoyed Playing the Horses, Bowling and Johnson's Carmel Corn from the shore.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home, 359 King St. Pottstown. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 A.M.
