Rachel A. (Hartwick) Chenco, wife of the late Willy Chenco, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Ann Arbor, MI, went to her heavenly home on her 87th birthday, August 17, 2013 at Atria Woodbridge, Kimberton, PA, where she resided. Born in 1926 in Korsnas, Finland, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Hilma (Kronbach) Hartwick. Rachel loved teaching Sunday School and affected many lives with her kindness.

Rachel is survived by three children: Sonya, (Victor Shiner), of Summerville, SC; Bill, (Mary Schroeder) Chenco, of Phoenixville, PA; Brenda, (Brian Hallquist), of Savage, MN; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by one daughter: Linda Chenco.

A private graveside funeral service will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spring City, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Heartland Hospice, 460 Norristown Road, #101, Blue Bell, PA 19422-2323.
